Health and Safety is at the heart of everything we do. As the Construction Adviser, you will drive the University construction related health and safety standards ensuring engagement of all stakeholders in capital and maintenance projects.

You will be an experienced chartered Health and Safety Professional with a construction background that has comprehensive knowledge and experience in the implementation of the CDM Regulations 2015. You will have worked within a large complex organisation and developed and successfully delivered a comprehensive construction health, safety and wellbeing programme to support the organisation.

With responsibility for embedding strong structured construction policies and procedures, you will have experience in raising awareness of construction related risks and provide a training programme to enable compliance particularly with the CDM regulations 2015.

You will have good communication and organisational skills that can achieve active engagement with Health and Safety issues in all University work environments.

This role will require a Standard DBS check.
