Head of Asset Management

Reporting to the Director of Estates and Capital Projects, the Head of Asset Management will lead the teams which are responsible for the management and effective utilisation of all university property in relation to its built environment. You will oversee the management of the University’s property interests in terms of freeholds, leases and licensees and oversee the way in which spaces are allocated and utilised throughout the University estates. You will also be responsible for ensuring that the University’s estate is managed in the most sustainable and environmentally-efficient manner.

You will have significant experience in a senior level real estate management role with particular experience in property asset management across a mixed-use property portfolio either within or on behalf of a large scale estate owner-occupier. You will have broad general practice surveying skills with experience gained of acquisition, disposal, landlord & tenant and other estate management related matters. Experience asset management across property portfolios predominately found in urban environments would be particularly advantageous.
