Our client a cancer charity based in London are seeking an experienced Database Executive to assist on a 2-3 month period with potential for a permanent post thereafter.

The Database Marketing Manager requires technical database support to deal with a backlog of data and system management tasks with minimal training and supervision. The postholder should also be able to implement system enhancements and advise on future development.

Database System Administration
*Data imports – process a backlog of data imports from suppliers and other external sources.
*Establish systems for dealing with data imports from new and existing suppliers
*Carry out other system administration and configuration tasks as required – these could include:
-Set up and configuration of CARE data selection and reporting tools
-User account management
-User access controls
-Document templates
-System upgrade testing and implementation
-Advise on and implement system enhancements

Provide user support and training
*Support the Database Marketing Manager in dealing with day-to-day user queries and problems
*Conduct more formal training sessions to small groups or individual users

Provide general support for routine data administration tasks
This could include:
*setting up new codes and managing old codes
*identifying and merging duplicate entries

Run data selections and reports
*Assist the Database Marketing Manager in segmenting and selecting supporter data for marketing and other communications
*Assist in the export of data into external data selection tools
*Use SQL or other tools to deliver effective reporting

Our client, a serviced office provider, is looking for a Purchase ledger Clerk to join their team. The Purchase Ledger Clerk will be responsible for the payment of suppliers for a certain number of centres. The clerk will be responsible for the purchase ledger process for their allocated centres from start to finish i.e. from inputting invoices, to resolving queries through to raising payments. Their role will include ensuring that purchase ledger controls are adhered to and costs are accurately reported.

- Inputting invoices on the purchase ledger
